The 2025 Global Women in Marketing (WiM) Awards Shortlist has been announced — and the Africa region stands proudly represented by a dynamic group of leaders whose work continues to shape the direction of marketing, communications, and creativity across the continent.

Africa’s Shortlisted Trailblazers

This year’s African shortlist features nine outstanding professionals, each driving impact through ideas, leadership, and innovation deeply connected to the markets and communities they serve.

The Celebration in London — 18 November 2025

This year’s WiM Awards celebration will take place in London on Tuesday 18 November 2025, bringing together professionals and peers from across regions to recognise achievements in marketing, creativity, and leadership.

The evening will honour those making meaningful change in how marketing is practised and who it serves — values that resonate strongly with the spirit of African marketing leadership: purposeful, community-centred, and future-focused.

Further event details can be found on the Women in Marketing website.

A Moment of Pride for WiM Africa

At WiM Africa, we recognise these nominees not as representatives of an emerging region, but as established leaders within a thriving ecosystem of African marketing excellence.

Africa’s marketing story has long been one of innovation — from brands that build trust across languages and cultures to campaigns that spark conversation and influence beyond borders. The 2025 shortlist simply reflects what we already know: that Africa’s marketing community continues to set standards of creativity, leadership, and impact that inspire the world.

Congratulations to all the shortlisted professionals. Your work reminds us that Africa doesn’t wait to be recognised — it leads with purpose, power, and originality.
