Women in Marketing Africa Returns to Cannes Lions 2026 with ERA Pass Opportunities

Women in Marketing Africa is pleased to confirm its participation for the second year running in the Cannes Lions ERA Programme 2026, continuing its commitment to increasing access, visibility, and representation for women across the African marketing and creative industries.

Following a powerful 2025 cohort — where WiM Africa delegates engaged deeply with the festival and brought valuable insights back into the community — we are once again offering a limited number of ERA passes to members of our network.

For many, the experience extended far beyond the official programme.

The ERA (Equity, Representation and Accessibility) Programme provides access to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, opening the door to global conversations, learning, and high-level industry connections.

For WiM Africa, this is not simply about attendance — it is about ensuring African perspectives are present, heard, and carried forward into global discourse.

We are inviting applications from women across our community who are:

  • Actively working within marketing, advertising, communications, or the wider creative industries
  • Demonstrating leadership, influence, or clear trajectory
  • Committed to sharing learnings and contributing back to the WiM Africa community

As one of our 2025 delegates reflected:

“It’s wild, inspiring, and an absolute joy to be surrounded by the who’s who of the creative world. Cannes Lions, you’re a sensory overload — in the best possible way!”

Ziada Abeid, Co-founder, Crescendo Digital (Tanzania)

Given the short turnaround this year, the application window will be open for less than two weeks - Deadline Monday 20th April. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Selected participants will join a growing cohort of WiM Africa representatives helping to shape how Africa shows up — and is seen — on the global stage.
